Karin garfood is small village in Bocame district of sool region. Its located 30km east to Bocame district. The livelihood of the residents depends the livestock and small shops that sells foods items and other daily life consumptions. The water sources are very few and when there is drought the price of water per jerkan may reach 0.5 USD which is very high price for the poor and vulnerable community in this small village. This village lacks school, community hall and even lacks health post where it very serious situation for the mother and child care health. In times of sudden outbreak of diseases the nearest health centre is bocame where the main challenge is poor road route and when it rains limits the transportation to and from this village. The communities are struggling these challenges are demanding to support health post. The dialogue program for the resource mobilisation helped communities set up a resource mobilisation committee and opened bank accounts for each committee. The Project will use the online Sokaab platform to track the transactions of the bank accounts and contributions from community members. Through Sokaab, members of the public will be able to access these financial transactions. Community contributions are expected to be provided on a voluntary basis by the residents of Karingarfood. The fundraising committee are requesting the community from Karingarfood to contribute to district project where the community will choose the priority project that they want to invest.
